On May 13th 2014, Professor Eyal Zisser gave at the SNSPA a lecture entitled “Israel and the New Middle East – The Challenges Ahead”. Professor Zisser is Dean of the Faculty of Humanities from Tel Aviv University, Director of the Department of Middle Eastern and African History, senior researcher at the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies from Tel Aviv University and a renowned researcher who has dedicated his life to the study of Syria and Lebanon. The lecture has tackled politics in the Middle East and the Arab Spring's evolution and transformation.
