Monday, April 1, 2019 "Theodor Herzl" Center for Israeli Studies organized a debate in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel in Romania. The event was attended by: the dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cristian Pirvulescu, Prof. Liviu Rotman, Director of the Center for Israeli Studies "Theodor Herzl", Dr. Dan Korn, honorary professor of SNSPA and former member of the Knesset, specialists in the field, students and master students of SNSPA. The event was moderated by professor Liliana Popescu, Vice-Rector of SNSPA.

During the debate "Contemporary Israel between History and Geopolitics", H.E. Mr. David Saranga, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Romania, spoke about the challenges of the Middle East region, the Iranian threat, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the economic opportunities in Israel.

În cadrul dezbaterii "Israelul contemporan între istorie și geopolitică", E.S. Dl. David Saranga, Ambasdorul Statului Israel în România, a vorbit despre provocările regiunii Orientului Mijlociu, amenințarea iraniană, conflictul israeliano-palestinian și oportunitățile economice din Israel.

La eveniment au participat: decanul Facultății de Științe Politice, conf. univ.dr. Cristian Pîrvulescu, prof. univ.dr. Liviu Rotman, Directorul Centrului de Studii Israeliene ,,Theodor Herzl”, Dr. Dan Korn, profesor de onoare al SNSPA și fost membru al Knesset-ului, specialiști în domeniu, studenți și masteranzi SNSPA. Evenimentul a fost moderat de către conf.univ.dr. Liliana Popescu, Prorector SNSPA.
